The benefits of research using animals do not justify the suffering caused

Animal experiments are cruel, unreliable,ineffective, inhuman and even dangerous

Animal tests do not reliably predict results in human beings

Animals have feelings and suffer from pain during the experiments.

During the experiments animals are in an unusual environment, so they might feel scared and stressed, therefore, the results will not be accurate.

There are alternative methods of research such as bio-engineering and computer modeling that provide us more accurate results

Alternative testing methods now exist that can replace the need for animals:

Computer models, such as virtual reconstructions of human molecular structures, can predict the toxicity of substances without invasive experiments on animals.

Artificial human skin is made from sheets of human skin cells grown in test tubes and can produce more useful results than testing chemicals on animal skin

The lives of animals should be respected

Animal tests are more expensive than alternative methods and are a waste of government money

Drugs that pass animal tests are not necessarily safe

Humans have no moral right to do experiments on animals

I believe that if a zoo have all the necessary equipment and is run well, when the animals are treated carefully and patiently, the zoo can be a very good place to get acquainted with wildlife

Stray animals

Stray animals can be a cause of different illnesses and infections.

They are very aggressive and can bite and attack people.

They are living creatures which should have the right to live where they want.

 People’s lost pets might be taken from the street and that could be a tragedy.

They can receive medical treatment.

They can be possibly put down and it’s cruel.

They can be a good friend for the lonely and the elderly.
