Исходная форма Present Past Future
Indefinite to be written The letters are written regularly. Письма пишутся регулярно. The letters were written yesterday. Письма были написаны вчера. The letters will be written tomorrow. Письма будут написаны завтра.
Continuous to be being writing The letters are being written at the moment. В данный момент письма пишутся. The letters were being written when he asked for them. Письма писали, когда он спросил о них.  
Perfect to have been written The letter has just been written. Письмо только что написано. The letters had been written when he asked for them. Письма уже написали, когда он спросил про них. The letters will have been written when he asks for them. Письма напишут к тому времени, когда он спросит о них.

Practice saying these sentences and answer the questions.

Put the sentences into the Passive Voice where possible.

Put the verbs in brackets into Past Indefinite or Past Continuous Passive.

Model: 1. They (shut) the window. – The window was shut.

Express the following sentences in the Passive. Do not mention the subjects of the active verbs.

Model: They asked me my name and address. – I was asked my name and address.

Give the corresponding Passive construction.

1. We looked through all the advertisements very attentively. 2. The gardener gathered all the dry leaves and set fire to them. 3. People will talk much about the successful debut of the young actress, no doubt. 4. You can rely upon your guide's experience. 5. Why didn't the speaker dwelt longer upon this question?
6. You should send the sick man to hospital. They will look after him much better there. 7. He was very glad that nobody took notice of his late arrival. 8. HOW THE OTHER HALF LIVES

Lord Manners was a rich and famous banker. When he (die), he (give)
a magnificent funeral which (attend) by hundreds of famous people. The funeral was going to (hold) in Westminster Abbey. Many ordinary people (line) the streets to watch the procession.
