Практические задания направлены на выработку умений и навыков использования грамматических явлений в устной и письменной речи. Составлены в соответствии с программой обучения английскому языку студентов неязыковых вузов.

Предназначены для студентов 1-го курса очного и заочного отделений, по следующим специальностям: 080502 «Экономика и управление на предприятии»; 270102 «Промышленное и гражданское строительство»; 270105«Городское строительство и хозяйство»; 270109 «Теплогазоснабжение и вентиляция».

Образуйте множественное число существительных.

Поставьте существительные в единственное число.

Aircraft, brothers-in-arms, brothers-in-law, cuckoos, deer, feet, flies, girl-friends, hairdos, keys, languages, leaves, lice, mice, Negroes, parties, pianos, roofs, sheep, skies, skis, taxes, taxis, theses, tomatoes, zeros.

Переведите на русский язык следующие сочетания существительных.

Переведите на английский язык, используя притяжательный падеж имени существительного.

Объясните наличие или отсутствие артиклей перед существительными в следующих предложениях.

1.This is a pencil. It’s a red pencil. The red pencil is on the table. 2. I’m a teacher. I’m at home now. This is my room. The room is large and clean. 3. Open your books at page thirteen. 4.
